My artwork explores the relationship between whimsical, cultural, inspirational, and everyday items. I’m passionate about using bright colors to express my emotions and ideas. My work reflects my love for vibrant hues and the energy they bring to life. Each piece is a celebration of color, inviting viewers to experience joy and positivity. The vision I've had for each piece is to capture a moment in time, whether it be still life or an activity at hand. Sometimes the piece will be art for art’s sake. Other times, my art seeks to situate the viewer in a reflective role about a moment in life.

I take inspiration from growing up in an artistic and musical Mexican American household as I mix in everyday items in my art pieces. A handful of artists influence me on any given day, including Edgar Degas, Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Victor Moscoso and Vernon Treweeke.

I expect my audience to admire my art and look through the small details that bring everything together or look from afar to see the full picture. My mixed media includes charcoal, acrylic paint, markers, color pencils, ink, and pencil and eraser. In my work, you’ll find a collection of my creations showcasing my journey as an artist and the inspirations I draw from everyday life.
